The first event in the fourth episode challenged the survivors to untangle a massive knot on a rope. Chris managed to get all of the knots out in 3 minutes and 20 seconds, followed by Jenny at 4:29.

Chris and Jenny placed 1-2 on the next event as well, which was a quiz over a picture that the survivors were able to look at for only thirty seconds.

In the third event, each of the castaway survivors asked the three remaining contestants a question, with the survivors earning a point for each correct answer. Again, Chris and Jenny finished first and second.

The deciding fourth event challenged the survivors pain threshhold. The survivors had to hold two fingers in an ice and water filled cooler. Jenny was the first to remove her fingers from the pain-causing water. With Jenny the first out of the event, Katie used the situation to do some more scheming. This time it was Chris who let Katie win the event, giving her enough points to move on to the next round and eliminating Jenny by exactly one point.
